Louisville and NBA legend, Wes Unseld, has passed away at the age of 74.
Unseld will go down as one of the best Louisville Cardinals of all time. He holds the school record for points in a game (45), is second all time in rebounding and the highest scorer in school history for a three-year player. He was first team All-Metro each of his three seasons and was a 2x Consensus first-team All-American at Louisville. His #31 is retired by Louisville while his #41 is retired by the Washington Wizards.
During his time in the NBA, Unseld made the All-Star team five times, won the MVP in 1969, and NBA Finals MVP in 1978.
He coached the Bullets from 1988-1994, and was inducted in the NBA Hall of Fame in 1988.
Rest In Peace.
